After training at Mount Sinai and spending years in conventional medicine, she kept seeing the same pattern: patients coming in with real symptoms, getting standard labs, hearing "everything looks normal," and being sent home with no answers.
She watched intelligent, proactive people get dismissed. Complex problems reduced to 7-minute appointments and single prescriptions. She knew the tools existed to do better—comprehensive testing, extended consultations, root-cause analysis—but the system wasn't built to use them. So she built her own.

Dr. Ruth Johnson, MD
After training at Mount Sinai—one of the nation's top medical centers—and spending years in conventional medicine, Dr. Johnson founded Genesis Health because she saw too many patients dismissed by a system designed for efficiency, not effectiveness. She built a practice where complex problems get the time, testing, and attention they deserve.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), Dr. Johnson combines rigorous conventional diagnostics with functional and integrative medicine. She doesn't choose one over the other—she uses both, because her patients deserve every tool available. Her consultations run 60–90 minutes and lab panels cover 120+ biomarkers, because you can't find what you don't look for.

Dr. Ninoschka Sevillano
Dr. Sevillano brings a unique perspective shaped by years of practicing medicine in resource-limited environments—where listening carefully and thinking creatively were essential, not optional. She graduated with honors from the University of Guayaquil and developed her skills treating diverse populations across Ecuador.
Her background in emergency care and integrative medicine gives her a rare combination: the ability to act decisively when needed, and the patience to explore root causes when the situation calls for deeper investigation.
